Interim Contracts Officer - Romsey (Hybrid) - 8 Month Contract

ARM are delighted to be recruiting for a world-class technology and engineering consultancy who are looking for a Contracts Officer to join them on an initial 8 month contract.

Your purpose:

The Contracts Officer will provide commercial support from early business development, contract negotiation and on through the life of the contract.

Day-today duties:

Liaising with Customers to convert quotations/bids into orders.
Support the establishment of relationships with Business Sales Partners.
Assume responsibility for daytoday commercial aspects of ongoing programmes, including the coordination of bidding activities, tender preparation, and customer liaison.
Review contracts, subcontracts and purchase orders up to certain limits and within guidelines.
Liaise with other departments as appropriate.
Manage registration onto Frameworks and Customer Vendor approval requirements.
Provide support to other areas of the business and members of the Commercial Team as required.

What we are looking for:

Good working knowledge and experience in similar Commercial environment
High level of computer literacy is essential, preferably including SAP.
Knowledge and understanding of contractual terms and conditions
Ability to review and negotiate a variety of contract types, including large UK Government framework contracts.
Experience of international business and understanding of export control rules and processes would be beneficial.
An awareness of the key principles of contract terms and conditions would be beneficial.
Comfortable working with simple financial models to support bid pricing.
