Description

Working within Specialist Children's service in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, which encompasses Community paediatrics, CAMHS & Acute Paediatrics, you will be committed to addressing the health and wellbeing needs of children, young people and their families.

You will work in multi-disciplinary teams whose aim is to provide high quality support, assessment and interventions in line with evidence based practice and national policies/ agendas.

You will have knowledge and experience of working in teams where care is coordinated and you will fully understand the impact of integrated care and services.

You will be professionally registered and have relevant experience in planning and providing person centred and outcome based care.

A strong culture of support, development, CPD, reflective practice and supervision exists to maximise our patient's experience, safety and outcomes and your career progression.

Tier 4 CAMHS are part of Specialist Children's Services, providing mental health services in the community and through the Regional and National Inpatient Units.

Working in Tier 4 CAMHS offers the opportunity to be involved with a diverse service user population.

We are committed to providing person centred care, trauma informed care and compassionate care in order to help young people on the road to recovery.

This post represents the opportunity to join Tier 4 Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services working across GGC working within the National Children's Inpatient Psychiatric Unit based on Royal Hospital for Children's site.

The ward has 6 beds and supports children from across Scotland You will have training and experience in delivering specific psychological therapies for children with complex psychiatric conditions.

You will be expected to take a leadership role and providing supervision for psychological interventions within the ward. This post represents the opportunity to continue to build on the work established in the ward.

As part of this role there will be close collaboration, joint working and the provision of advice and consultation to the wider multidisciplinary team, other NHS services and to other statutory and third sector services working with children, young people and their families.

Our team, based at Royal Hospital for Children, is a great team to be part of working with a range of people across GGC and nationally.
