Description

Housing Inclusion Officer roles

Housing Inclusion Service - Moving on Support Team (MOST)
We have 2 vacancies in our Moving on Support team

Housing Inclusion AFEO Officer SO- 2 fixed term 24 month contracts

The Moving on Support Team team work with people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness. Most of our clients are coming out of prison, or have been recently involved within the criminal justice system. The service is responsible for preventing homelessness and providing housing advice to people around their housing options.

The housing inclusion officers in the team are responsible for carrying out the statutory homelessness assessment function for people who are either referred to or approach us directly.

There is some work for the housing inclusion officers with a range of different people who are homeless for a variety of reasons in addition to the main client group.

The Housing Inclusion AFEO (Accommodation for Ex-Offenders) posts are new roles which we are very pleased to be able to advertise.

Royal Greenwich successfully bid to be part of the department of Levelling up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) programme to source and sustain private rented accommodation for ex-offenders (
_AfEO_).

The roles will enable us to provide extra support to our homeless ex-offenders and ensure that they are able to sustain tenancies we have supported them to obtain.
