We are a home care company based in Dartford and are looking to take on an experienced Field Care Supervisor as we grow the business.

Job description

Main responsibilities

Supervising and providing training support for Care Assistants out in the field
Liaising with Customers, their Family, Doctors, Nurses and Social Workers
Creating care plans for new customers and updating existing care plans
Being part of the Emergency On Call on a rota

Conditions of Post

40 hours per week, varied work patterns, including every other weekend
Own transport with relevant insurance
Be part of the on call rota and coordinate cover for unplanned absence
To help to deliver care on an emergency basis

Requirements - Essential

Strong skills in planning, scheduling, prioritising and time management
Experience in care provision at a level that reflects the responsibilities of the post applied for
Profound interest in care
Ability to work unsupervised
Effective organisational and multitasking skills
Ability to work under pressure
Good literacy, IT, numeracy and presentation skills
Excellent customer service skills
Problem solving skills
Understands and ensures good teamwork
Previous Domiciliary Care Experience

Requirements - Desirable

NVQ
Professional relevant qualifications
Experience as a supervisor or senior care worker in a care providing organisation

Ability to commute/relocate:

Dartford, DA1 2JS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- providing care: 1 year (required)

- supervisory: 1 year (preferred)

Salary:
£23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
