We are working with an exciting management consultancy firm, who due to exceptional growth, are looking to expand their Sheffield City Centre based team.


Founded almost 3 years ago, our client is one of the regions fastest growing consultancy firms, offering strategic and advisory projects across a high-profile portfolio of banking, asset management, fintech, and financial services clients.


Due to continued demand for their services and impressive growth plans, our client is now looking to grow its team of Management Consultants to meet client demand and progress within the business.


This is a fantastic opportunity for finance and accounting professionals that are part-qualified or qualified, to join and learn from some of the industry's leading consultants, whilst working as part of a new and growing team.

Typical responsibilities will include:


  • Facilitate discussions with clients to understand their business issues and areas of proposed improvement.
  • Define the problem concisely and develop the proposed solution.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to drive the proposed solution
  • Quantitative research such as data analysis, developing financial models, performing valuation analysis, etc.
  • Qualitative research methodologies include such as reviewing or conducting market research, collating business intelligence, interviewing key stakeholders, etc.
  • Consolidate the findings from the analysis, develop business requirements and options, recommendations, and present potential solutions to the client.
  • Provide support to the client's decision making and governance process.
  • Develop and present a plan to implement the recommended changes.
  • Support business development activities of the firm such as proposal development, case studies and thought papers.

Who we're looking for?

Qualifications

  • Hold or working towards qualifications in accounting, banking, finance, legal or tax
  • University degree or equivalent

Skills

  • Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Welldeveloped core consulting skills of analysis, presentation, and attention to detail
  • Aptitude to grasp new concepts and effectively produce results
  • Exceptional problemsolving skills an analytical, innovative, and creative mindset
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, complexity, and challenging environments
  • Ability to structure and manage intensive workloads
  • A team player, dedicated to contributing toward the outcome desired by the team
  • High degree of emotional intelligence to effectively deal with increasingly diverse clients and teams
  • Confidence and maturity to work with a range of client stakeholders at all levels

Experience

  • Experience in professional or financial services
  • Experience of working with clients and/or internal stakeholder engagement

£25,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
