Your primary focus will be on Service Desk operations.Initially, the role will be office-based however, as you progress, there will be opportunities for remote work on a select number of days per week.
The role encompasses first-line support responsibilities, gradually evolving to managing tickets and projects from initiation to completion.-
Working week Tuesday to Friday (College/Study Day Monday), 8.30am - 5pm (45 minutes unpaid lunch per day)

What you will do in your working day
- Provide effective firstline support at the Service Desk, addressing user inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and escalating when necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues and team members to ensure seamless Service Desk operations.
- Manage and oversee assigned tickets and projects, ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction.
- Demonstrate a strong aptitude for learning on the job, continuously expanding knowledge and skills.
- Exhibit excellent people and communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and endusers.
- Embrace opportunities for growth within the company, with the chance to delve into Cyber Security and Network areas
The training you will be getting
If successful, you will be enrolled onto an 18-month Level 3 Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship at South Devon College.
You will attend weekly taught lessons at South Devon College which will give you the knowledge and understanding to become a proficient Information Communications Technician.
Supported by your Assessor Coach, Course Tutor and the team here at Tomlinson Solutions LTD, you will get the chance to hone these skills daily.
This role is truly a fantastic opportunity for anyone to create a new career. Upon completion, you will receive a recognised Level 3 Information Communications Technician Standard certificate. Functional skills if required.What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Potential to work remotely. 28 days holiday, rising to 30 days after 1 year of service. Frequent team activities. Participate in networking events. Need to travel to our office in Kingsteignton. Mandatory to be able to be SC (Security clearance) vetted. Be able to work occasional weekends - overtime paid.
