If you have a background in childminding, babysitting, or have volunteered in schools and afterschool clubs, your transferable skills will be highly valued.

We also appreciate individuals who have personal experience with close family members who have SEN, as your natural understanding can make a tremendous impact.

In our school, learning takes various forms based on the age group.

In the lower years, you'll have the joy of engaging children in play and interactive activities both indoors and outdoors.

For the higher years, you'll empower students to make independent choices and work towards success, with your guidance and support.

Most students will be working towards entry-level or P-level qualifications, and your ability to use initiative and creativity to support their learning through play will be key.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be entrusted with responsibilities that require good initiative and attention to detail.

Your animated nature and willingness to get involved, whether through singing, toy modeling, or using theme songs as motivators, will captivate the young minds in your care.

Resilience will be essential as you navigate the occasional challenges in behaviour management, relying on patience, understanding, and adherence to our behaviour policies to develop effective strategies.

Collaboration with the class teacher will be paramount. You'll read and interpret lesson plans, working closely to ensure the best possible learning experience for the children.
