Description
As an Account Handler your primary responsibility will be to co-ordinate small orders from start to finish.

You will need to carry out all administrative tasks relating to your Clients and Orders, in addition to supporting the project managers on larger projects.

This role will involve client and supplier interaction, paperwork, quotations, purchase orders, using the company's bespoke database, liaison with colleagues, time checks and product searching / information gathering.


As part of a small team, you will carry some responsibilities connected with this position, in particular controlling costs in connection with the jobs/orders which involve purchasing items for projects on behalf of the company.


Due to the fast pace of our industries, you may be required to work extra hours in connection with your work at little notice, so great flexibility is required as well as the wish to develop and interact with a small team.


You will need to have a good head for figures, an understanding of company procedures and a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook, however knowledge of Mac would be an advantage.


Essential skills:


  • Totally computer literate and conversant in Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent telephone manner / customer liaison skills

You should also:

- have a good head for solving problems and be able to work under a great deal of pressure, as our industry works at a very fast pace.
- be extremely organised and tidy
- be enthusiastic and always looking at ways of improving the way in which a small team works
- be dedicated and prepared to work extra hours on occasions without notice
