Experienced Operations co-ordinator wanted to be a part of a growing team of professionals in a vastly growing enviroment.


The role is within the office of Raybloc (X-ray Protection) Ltd, that is situated in Willenhall, West Midlands — five minutes from junction 10 of the M6.


The Business:

The company has served customers such as the NHS, construction builders, and dentists and vets for over twenty years. Providing them with the highest quality products on the market— such as doors and frames, windows, and X-ray screens.

For the past twenty years, the business has grown each year. It's the company's vision to supply equipment to every hospital in the World. We are on track to achieve that.

Your Role:


Your role would be to ensure that the projects within the company run seamlessly, from sales orders to delivery with the highest level of customer experience possible.

Within the role you will be required to fulfil the following tasks:

  • Order Processing / Sign off:
  • Review sales orders with the estimation team to create a works order within Raybloc ensuring all information from the customer's order is captured.
  • Create a specification sheet and drawings for the customer to review and capture key missing information for Raybloc to manufacture the products.
  • Follow up and chase customers to ensure information is gathered prior to customers signoff deadlines.
  • Produce completed specification sheets for the workshop and review to ensure Raybloc can meet all customer requirements.
  • Provide any necessary customerowner and maintenance manuals prior to completion of the order.
  • Process and complete new customersupplier forms.

Purchasing:

  • Request quotations for any purchase orders and ensure all pricing is accurate and up to date.
  • Review quotations to ensure relevant areas know of any price increases.
  • Build relationships with key suppliers to reduce costs and lead times.
  • Ordering of materials and workshop stock/ machinery.
  • Create order requisition's based on job specific information that has been gathered from the signoff process.
  • Place orders for completed order requestion along with any requisitions placed from stores/ workshop areas.
  • Deal with any returns or replacements of purchased materials.

Invoicing:

  • Upon completion of jobs invoice accordingly and on time ensuring the cashflow is as planned within the company.
  • Ensure any changes throughout the order processing and sign off stage are reflected in the final invoice.
  • Ensure all information on the invoice is upto date to ensure prompt payment to avoid any payment delays from the customer.
Deliveries

  • Arrange deliveries of products with customers in line with their delivery dates including dedicated carriers and pallets.

Company development and analysis:

  • Improve efficiency and streamline processes where possible to develop the role.
  • Capture data to help improve operational aspects of the business.
  • Participate in team meetings along with production meetings to highlight potential improvements and/or challenges.
  • Customer Experience: _
  • Customer focused, to develop and maintain a 5star customer service through effective communication processes that ensure clients are raving fans and pass on positive word of mouth.

Minimum experience of 5 years in Manufacturing based roles required (Open to discussion if you feel you are more than capable).

What You Get:


The role is within the office, it does not require any site travel, so there will be no working away, meaning your days will be consistent.


Payment is a minimum of £10 an hour and will be negotiated based on what skills and experience you currently hold.
