Hybrid Recruit are actively recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk for a client based in Castleford.
The main job function of the Purchase Ledger Clerk will be to be the first point of contact for queries, building successful relationships with both internal and external departments whilst also assisting the PL team leader with payment runs of invoice approvals and supplier reconciliations.
The successful Purchase Ledger clerks will be responsible for the recording and monitoring of all expenditure made by the company, ensuring compliance with VAT and CIS.
Responsibilities of the Purchase Ledger Clerk:
- Following our full P2P Process using our Document Management System 'Paperless'
- Preparing weekly payment runs on SAGE 200 & loading onto Bankline.
- Processing credit cards & personal expenses through our expenses system 'Concur'.
- Reconciling supplier statements, requesting copy invoices as required
- Investigating and resolving any queries internally and externally
- Assisting PL Team Leader with CIS compliance and reporting
- Day to day management of the Accounts Inbox
- Building and maintaining relationships across the group
- Maintaining supplier master data
Requirements of the Purchase Ledger Clerk:
- At least 2 years' experience within a similar role.
- Experience of Document Management Software/P2P Automation desirable
- Knowledge of CIS/VAT/DRC desirable
- SAGE 200 Experience
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Good communication and organisational/time management skills
- Customer service focused.
- Excellent telephone manner
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
In return, the Purchase Ledger Clerk will receive:
- Salary: £24,000
- £25,000 / Year
