We are looking to fill a Marketing Exec role in the Brand team, specifically working on Channel 4's programme of brand transformation.

This is a 12-month role on a fixed term contract.


THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES


The Marketing Exec will focus on delivering one of the channel's major strategic projects, transforming the brand and experience for the digital era, managing day to day brand governance and supporting on other brand projects.

This is a unique opportunity for hands on involvement in a genuinely exciting team, with loads to do over the months ahead.

Working closely with 4creative, Channel 4's in house creative agency, and external partners, the Marketing Exec will support the Marketing Lead with key responsibilities below:

Brand Transformation

  • Developing close working relationship with teams across the organisation, including 4creative, 4Studio, Broadcast Operations, Technology, Product, Comms
  • Managing and updating programme management tools and status trackers
  • Issuing regular programme communications and updates showcasing the new brand, with the latest programme developments and decisions
  • Developing training assets and rollout plans, supporting the Marketing Lead to educate teams internally how to use the new assets and guidelines
  • Proactively purging old branding, identifying areas that need to be audited and ensuring changes are made

Brand Campaigns

  • Managing the cultural calendar campaigns (e.g. Pride, Diwali etc) and engaging with key teams across Channel 4 to amplify these moments across all channels
  • Ongoing brand production tasks including where needed creating brand assets for highprofile events, or other ad hoc moments
  • Brand Governance
  • The go to person for the internal and external branding questions, managing our brand requests inbox and providing guidance and solutions quickly and effectively
  • Brand support for 4Sales maintaining the ongoing dialogue and brand counsel with the Sales team, on everything from Premiere Breaks to other partner brand activations.
  • Ongoing management/updates of brand guidelines on our asset management system
