- Write responses to tenders & bids to a high standard.
- Peerreview the written responses of others e.g. external bid writers.
- Track and monitor bids in progress via the "bid plan".
- Identify upcoming opportunities for new business.
- Support the bid manager on business development projects.

- Bid writing specific experience is not essential, but those without this should be able to demonstrate extensive experience in producing written work.

Key details:
- 2530k per year starting salary

Adaston are an industry leading Passive fire protection firm, specialising in the inspection and remediation of fire protection and fire doors as well as consultancy services to a wide range of clients in the public and private sector.
In 2024, following our success in a number of public tenders, we are looking to capitalise on our success and ensure the continuation of growth in future years.
As a result, we are expanding our bid team to boost our ability to return high-quality tenders throughout the year.
As a Bid Writer with Adaston, your primary role will be to assist the bid manager in the ongoing delivery of each "bid plan".
This will include tracking upcoming opportunities, carrying out a bid/no bid evaluation, writing bid responses, reviewing responses written by others and compiling bid documents for evaluation.
As well as bid writing, you will also play a key role in the monitoring and tracking of both current and future responses to ensure we continue to proactively engage with the market and drive growth.
Additionally, as bids require input from multiple elements of our business you must be confident in your ability work as part of a team to deliver a common goal.
As we continue to bid work and receive feedback both positive and negative from clients, it is essential that we continue to improve our ability to respond to market tenders.
As a result, the ability to take constructive criticism onboard to improve our responses is vital to our future success.
