Zenith People have an exciting opportunity for a Semi Skilled Fitter in Sunderland. This is a temporary role for 13 weeks with the chance to go permanent after the probationary period.


Job description:


  • Required to carry out build/assembly of hydraulic equipment.
  • Testing and repairs.
  • Maintenance of machinery i.e. lathes, milling machines etc.
  • Pressure testing of castings, deburring of castings.
  • Machining such as drilling etc. if required.

Person specification:


  • Experience of basic welding would advantageous but not necessary.
  • Must be willing to carry out site visits if required.
  • Must have relevant Electrical qualification.
  • Must have previous experience fitting/assembling hydraulic equipment.
  • Competent in testing and repairs of hydraulic equipment.
  • Ideally have machining experience i.e. drilling.
  • Must have a full UK Driving License and own transport.

Overtime:


  • 1.5 x standard rate
  • 2 x Sunday

Job Types:
Full-time, Temp to perm

Contract length: 13 weeks


Salary:
£13.00 per hour
