Job overview


To provide comprehensive support in the operational performance, management and effectiveness of the Crown Time & Attendance Workforce Management System across Estates & Facilities Management.


To be the first point of contact for all system users ensuring the outputs from the system are of the relevant quality to enable EFM staff to receive the correct pay and to provide the management team with reports to support, manage and monitor attendance.


Support staff with knowledge and understanding of Agenda for Change Terms and Conditions of Pay and Service to be able to understand the specific pay elements of working rotas and to deal with any necessary pay queries.


Provide support to the Business & Assurance Manager on any other duties required to enable the service to improve and achieve its operational objectives.


The post is based at the City Hospital Campus and will involve travel between the QMC and City Hospital Campus.

Person specification

Training & Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • Educated to GCSE (grade C or above standard or equivalent including English language)
  • NVQ 4 in Business Administration or equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge of Agenda for Change terms and conditions of service.
Experience

Essential criteria

  • Experience of NHS Terms and Conditions of Service and Non-Trust Terms and Conditions of Service.
  • Able to manage systems and processes to record results and perform gap analysis.
Desirable criteria

  • Knowledge of current NHS policy and technical guidance.
  • Experience in payroll administration.
  • Experience of Time & Attendance Systems.
Communication & Reltionships

Essential criteria

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including report writing/ detailed correspondence.
  • Provide and receive information which may be complicated for example explaining Agenda for Change Payments to staff and raising data queries with Crown Computing

Salary:
The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
