The role:
Our client is looking for an account manager to be part of their business development team to nurture and manage accounts.
You will be an expert in developing and nurturing solid relationships as well as utilising the company resources to develop and implementstrategic solutions to support your clients' needs.
You will be responsible for maximising client success through monitoring and analysing data to improve current performance.You will develop strong relationships with your clients and be their main point of contact.
The client base is nationwide with some requirement for field visits so a full valid UK driving licence is essential.
You will work alongside the Business Development Executive and Senior Business Development Executive to support the team, feedback on key trends and areas of improvement, whilst working to team and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and sustain solid relationships with your key clients
- Grow the company's revenue by ensuring clients are satisfied with the services provided, and identify new business opportunities
- Act as the main point of contact between clients and internal teams
- Negotiate contracts with key clients
- Manage multiple accounts without compromising on the quality of service
- Build strong client relationships
- Ensure clients have a full awareness of our full range of products and services
- Track KPIs identifying trends and opportunities to maximise client growth
- Analyse data and sales statistics to improve business development strategies
- Compile reports on client progression and success
- Report and deliver on your KPIs
- Collaborate with your team members to support with the teams' accounts
- Collaborate with the business support team to ensure client's administrative needs are met.
- Support marketing and technology activities
- Maintain high standards of account data in our CRM
Skills and experience:
- Min 1 years' experience in Business Development/Account Management
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written, with all members of the public
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent problemsolving skills
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills
- Exceptional customer service
- Commercial awareness
- Professional and courteous at all times with staff and clients
- Excellent prioritising skills
- Confidence and drive
- Ability to deal with difficult conversations and share best practice with team members
- Excellent listening and negotiation skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Previous CRM salesforce experience preferred but not essential (training will be given)
- Holds a full valid UK driving licence
