**Role: Product Manager - Data productsLocation**:
Hybrid - 2 days in office, Near Watford
Salary:
£60,000 to £65,000 plus bonus and benefits.
With the cost of living crisis, many retailers are wondering what direction to take in order to remain relevant to the consumer and meet the challenges of a fast evolving landscape.
One of their revenue streams is a data and insight platform. It's this platform you'll be responsible for shaping the roadmap of development for.
Sitting behind the platform is an analytics and insight engine. One which can provide automated reporting, insights, industry benchmarking and forecasting solutions at both a customer and market level.
You will be responsible for defining, prioritising and managing the feature backlog of the platform's development.
You will be client facing, often meeting with big retail clients and their leadership teams, understanding their challenges and how needs might be evolving for insight and data resource.
Working in partnership with the data and analytics team to scope outwhat's achievable and creating the business case for their development.
Overseeing the development phases, working with project teams to take it through development and testing phases into the live environment.
So they understand how to access and get the best out of the product and the data insights it providesto their businesses.

With all the mod-cons and post pandemic working environment changes to reflect a reallymodern style of work place.EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- Product Management/Product Ownership experience of a data related product/platform
- Would be ideal if you've had experience of doing this in a retail or related industry before as to be up to speed not only on the challenges retailers face, but understand industry lingo
- Ability to consult with clients, understand their needs, challenges and requirements. Relating them back to commercial opportunities to evolve a product
- Good knowledge and experience of managing a product roadmap, assessing commercial opportunity, prioritising feature development
- Experience of establishing business cases, as well as delivering to them
