What the day will look like


As a Client Service Advisor your key responsibilities will include leading the day-to-day management and renewal of an account portfolio (made up of small sized financial institutions) supported by the Client Manager and Client Director with the management of our client relationships.


  • Efficient delivery of all clientfacing transactional service activities
  • Proactively assisting in the day to day running of Client's risk and insurance programmes
  • Ensuring that the output from outsourced activities achieves the required quality levels in accordance with agreements with clients
  • Pre renewal preparation and planning
  • Address credit control/account queries / Handle debt collection
  • Renewal preparation including; producing renewal timetables, issuance of renewal report, policy documentation and all other client documentation
  • Produce Benchmarking data as and when required
  • Delivering the coordination of global service, where appropriate, as directed by the Client Manager
  • Contributing proactively to client satisfaction, retention and profitability as determined by the Client Manager
  • Being aware of regulatory requirements and comply with them
  • Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
As a Client Service Advisor your skills and experience will ideally include:

  • Account handling experience obtained either in the insurance industry or other financial services
  • Ability to positively engage clients
  • Experience of the insurance industry and/or financial institutions,
  • Experience of financial and professional risk, preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work efficiently within a structured process
  • Relevant technical insurance knowledge
  • Demonstrate good communication, decision making, proactivity and problemsolving skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to coordinate activities within a crossfunctional team
  • Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service
  • Ability to appropriately engage with relevant outsourced parties
  • Compliance with regulatory and business procedures
  • Progression towards Chartered Insurance qualifications
