Description
Our Technical Data Analysts:
- Are good at working across multiple clients and with large datasets
- Can accurately and consistently review the quality of large customer datasets
- Are quick to identify incomplete and diverse datasets, pinpointing data issues which may affect accuracy and completeness
- Analyse the output from our data quality solutions to ensure it meets the client objectives
- Identify actionable insight from datasets to help solve our client's data quality challenges
- Create insightful and repeatable reporting to demonstrate our improvements and findings
- Help define and manage rulesets and scorecards for our data quality products
- Maintain static data within our data quality products, both proprietary and third party
- Are empowered to assist in the research for product and feature development
- Use statistical techniques where appropriate to test and model predictive relationships
- Provide quality control during the implementation of new products or features
- Are open minded and flexible with a thirst for knowledge and an appetite for continuous development
What success looks like in the role
- Diligent in reviewing, testing and manually amending records within large data sets
- Demonstrates a good ability to join and convert large data sets based on given requirements
- Can problem solve with the tools and resources at hand
- Communicates well and works collaboratively within a team
- Ability to take accountability and ownership for client and internal deliverables
- Consistently delivers to the required timelines
Requirements and Competencies
- Understands the importance of data quality and maintaining accurate customer data
- Have good applied technical and analytical skills in Excel
- Basic SQL is preferred
- 1+ year/s of relevant experience
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Have pride in deliverables
- Organised and to deliver on to an agreed plan
- Good at working independently and as part of a team
- Are flexible and selfmotivated
- Have good communication skills
- Are good under pressure
- Has a desire to learn and improve skills which may include SQL, Power BI and Python as required
- Can be flexible with travel to clients
- Have the right to work in the UK
