Administrator, Permanent role, London, £26,000, Hybrid work patten


Our client, a high profile not for profit Membership body in London, with a mission statement dedicated to global stability and peace, needs a dynamic Administrator.

The department's purpose is to disseminate information and views among its members as topractices and professional responsibilities throughout the world and to facilitate communication among members.


In this permanent role your responsibilities will include:

  • Project management, keeping processes on track
  • Able to devise and implement processes that drive projects to completion
  • Committee liaison, dealing with people
  • Having a working overview of department activities
  • Producing and distributing reports, memos agendas and minutes
  • Preparing and proofreading copy for conference programmes, websites and publications
  • Monitoring budget informing directors of status
  • Updating policy handbook
  • Managing projects databases
  • Processing expense reimbursement requests and invoices for payment
  • Providing administrative support for Conference
  • Maintaining relevant websites and ensuring they are uptodate
Person specification and skills


You have:

  • Able to build strong working relationships
  • Experience in minute taking is not essential, but need to be keen to learn
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Administrative experience in an office environment
  • Prioritising and managing own busy work load and various projects
  • Proven track record in detailed, accurate and timely administration
  • Drafting memos and reports for senior review
  • Scheduling formal and informal meetings and creating formal agenda
  • Competence and advanced knowledge in using MS Office (particularly Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Selfmotivation and initiative
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to be flexible and working with changing priorities
  • The ability to develop effective working relations with senior professionals from various cultures
You may be asked to travel by air, and occasionally work outside normal office hours to support events.
