Auditor - Fire & Security


As a UK South Auditor at our esteemed Fire & Security client, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our adherence to industry standards and certifications, vital for supporting our extensive portfolio of Security systems installations and services.

Reporting directly to the Head of Compliance and Training, you will collaborate closely with the Compliance team to maintain and achieve the accreditations essential for providing top-tier service to our clients.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct product audits on Intruder, CCTV, and Access control installations, and update audit plans accordingly.
  • Perform Service Audits on engineers during PPM visits, and update audit plans as needed.
  • Conduct annual inspections on working at height equipment for Install and Service engineers, maintaining updated registers.
  • Ensure timely followup on corrective actions required from audits or inspections.
  • Perform meter calibration checks for Install and Service engineers and update registers accordingly.
  • Conduct PAT testing on engineers' work equipment.
  • Oversee engineer PPE, Health & Safety inspections, and audit recordings.
  • Support the development of apprentice engineers, new engineers, and operational changes in accordance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate NSI Technical Audits, complete audits with NSI Inspectors, and provide evidence for UK South operations.
  • Attend Regional QA meetings as required.
  • Assist the compliance team with thirdparty audits and support Health & Safety with accident investigations as necessary.

Requirements:


  • Possession of a Full Driving Licence.
  • Ability to effectively plan and manage workload.
  • Understanding of Security Systems installation and service requirements previous engineering/on the tools experience
  • Familiarity with British Standards and willingness to undergo NSI Auditor Training if not already qualified.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels.
  • Understanding of site precautions and safe working practices.
  • A-Level or equivalent education preferred.
