Exeter Hospital | Administration | Bank Contract | £10.50 an hour


Our Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital currently have an opportunity for a Bank Physiotherapy Administrator role, to assist the busy and friendly team.

The opportunity


As our (zero hours) Bank Physiotherapy Administrator you will:

  • Be available to cover administration and reception duties between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm on ad hoc days that need cover due to contracted staff leave. We aim to provide as much notice of shift availability as possible, but on occasion when covering sickness there could be less than 24 hours notice.
The person

To succeed as a Bank Physiotherapy Administrator you will need:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and clear communications with fluent English.
  • Proficient IT computer programme skills and telephonic confidence.
  • Grade C / level 4 Maths and English GCSE
  • Be happy to deal with patients, visitors, members of the public and clinical professionals.
Previous experience of working in a busy hospital/clinic environment would be an advantage.

Key information about the role.

You will be given plenty of training to be confident in the role in order to work independently.

You will be required to complete some annual mandatory training modules to ensure safe and governed practises.

You will be provided with a uniform and name badge.


The role will include booking patient appointments; assisting in the clinical diary management; receiving and dealing with telephone enquiries; and providing a friendly welcome to the patients arriving into the physiotherapy department.
