The Junior Sales Estimator will acquire experience in all aspects of the exciting and demanding Automatic Fire Sprinkler industry.

Working within the Sales Team alongside the Estimating Manager and Business Development Manager, the role will have input into tenders for installation projects from receipt of initial design specifications and tender documentation through to the point of sale and handover to our Projects Team.

The principal duties will include (training will be provided):

• Determining design details from project specifications,
• Spacing sprinkler heads to suit the relevant design standards,
• Inputting quantities, rates and durations in order to produce an accurate estimate of costs,
• Preparing and creating proposal tender documentation,
• Providing knowledge and assistance to customers and consultants,
• Liaising between customers, consultants, insurers and suppliers.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• 2 years' experience working within the construction industry,
• Strong numeracy skills,
• An excellent attention to detail,
• An excellent level of IT literacy
• Word, Excel and Outlook

- with an ability to quickly learn in-house systems,

• Ability to manage own work load by effectively prioritising and multitasking,
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written), must be confident and courteous on the telephones and be able to communicate at all levels,
• The ability to remain calm under pressure,
• Customer service oriented with focus on the success of the business,
• People person yet resilient and assertive with proactive and positive attitude,
• Effective problem solving & organisational skills.

Salary:
£18,000.00-£25,000.00 per year


Ability to commute/relocate:

• Haverhill CB9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
