- I am currently recruiting on the behalf of a global legal firm, for their office based in the heart of Manchester City Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established business in a junior role to work in an administrative capacity, within the wider Finance team, supporting Lawyers and Billing Cashiers to deliver annotation of ebilling processes for a range of clients._
_The role involves:
_
- Ensuring a smooth and efficient route through the Ebilling process (uploading invoices to 3rd party approvers)
- Understanding the ebilling system used and how this works in line with the existing billing process
- Reviewing all records associated with bills to ensure accuracy
- Analysing billing narratives identifying noncompliance
- Working alongside Lawyers when legal intervention is necessary to enable submission of bills & deal with any associated queries
- Identifying colleagues with high levels of noncompliance; provide statistical evidence to drive improvements
- Uploading invoices to external billing platform and manage rejections
- Working with the wider billing team to improve internal processes
- General administrative duties as required, and proving additional support in the absence of other colleagues
- Prior experience in an administrative role
- Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills
- The ability to effectively manage own workload with a proactive approach
- The ability to portray a professional and positive approach to work and contribute towards the team ethos at all times
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Previous experience in a billing function and / or legal environment
