Description
Managing the funding and liquidity requirements of the businesses that are in scope of the Collateral Treasury in HBEU.

This includes helping support the management of the LCR, NSFR, WSLM and any other such liquidity ratio as it becomes applicable and FTP.


  • Ensure the collateral requirements across the various demands are met
  • VM, IM, Funding. This should also consider the most optimal allocation of that asset to cover the requirement i.e. Cheapest to Deliver with the regulatory, financial and supply constraints.
  • Manage and ensure the accuracy of the funding and liquidity.
  • Support Management, ALCM, FRM and other stakeholders in their understanding of the key drivers of the funding and liquidity within MSS.
  • Help establish new products and clients to build out the funding capabilities within to CT.
  • Build out the tools and infrastructure required for CT to fund and manage the liquidity and funding in an effective manner cyclops e.g. This also involves developing a consistent approach and architecture where possible across C. Treasury and the various asset classes.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the product area including but not limited to market liquidity and volatility, pricing and trading strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, industry, clients within the framework of existing regulation
  • Develop close and effective working relationships within respective Regions/Countries/Functions/Global Businesses
  • Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets
  • Act on unusual/ unacceptable activity or behaviours and escalate appropriately
Requirements

  • Detailed knowledge of financing markets, market liquidity and volatility, pricing and trading strategies.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory environment as it relates to financial resources.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong risk management skills.
  • Ability to work closely with different stakeholders to grow the business.
