Accounts Assistant - Kingston upon Hull, United Kingdom - Kingston Recruitment

Key responsibilities will include:
- Resolving queries daily.
- Manage the MVS credit card account and assisting card holders when necessary.
- Assist with weekly preparation of BACs run.
- Assist with and provide cover, where necessary, with sales ledger related tasks, ie. establishing sales accounts.
- Assist with verifying purchase invoices through purchase control to meet business requirements.
- Submitting weekly reports to authorisers on outstanding invoices for authorisation.
- Weekly review of unallocated cash on the Purchase Ledger and liaising with suppliers and sites for resolution when necessary.
- Setting up supplier accounts on receipt of authorised supplier request forms, ensuring that authorisation is chased when needed.
- Confirming supplier bank account changes in accordance with policy
- Adhoc duties to be completed where necessary and requested by the Financial Operations Manager.
- Observing and adhering to the Group Health & Safety and Environmental Policy at all times, ensuring a professional and presentable appearance of both the individual and the workplace.
Hours/Days:
25 hours a week, Monday - Friday
