We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants in Birmingham who are passionate about delivering the highest quality two-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling her to live as independently as possible in his family home.

Meet our service user
Our service user is a male in his early 20's who lives with his loving family in Birmingham. He requires support throughout the night on a 2:1 basis with his complex care needs.

He loves music, sensory lights, a big fan of books and loves the interaction from his family and care team.

It is important to understand his methods of communication and identify his wants and needs, as he is non-verbal. Patience and understanding area key qualities for this role.

Throughout the night you will provide support with his personal care, repositioning, making clinical observations and attending to his needs when required.

You will provide a peaceful environment to promote a restful night's sleep.

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

Essential Experience Required

3 months previous care experience
Personal Care
Moving and Handling
Medication Administration
Tracheostomy Care

Desirable Experience

Epilepsy Care / Seizure Management
Gastrostomy Care (PEG Feeding)
Oral Suction
Nebuliser Care

We have the following shifts available;

Part Time Nights
9pm8am
12 Shifts Per Week
Additional hours are available working across multiple service users in your area.

Take a look at our pay rates

Weeknights:
£13.50 per hour (£148.50 approx. per 11-hour shift)

Weekends:
£14.00 per hour (£154 approx. per 11-hour shift)

Bank Holiday:
£14.50 per hour (£159.50 approx. per 11-hour shift)
