Senior Financial Reporting Manager

Location:
London, hybrid working

The Senior Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for overseeing all corporate financial reporting and ensuring that all new FRC guidance and IFRS standards are met in reporting whilst acting as an SME on technical accounting areas.

Key Accountability:

Oversee planning for the annual and interim financial reporting processes, including timetabling, management of audit process, board updates and internal sign offs
Delivery of Annual and Interim Financial statements
Work closely with Head of Finance and deputy Head of Finance in delivery of trading updates and regulatory reporting
Develop, lead and implement external finance reporting projects as required
Support finance workstreams on corporate projects: acquisitions, etc
Ongoing technical review of all accounting policies to ensure alignment with all current standards and reporting requirements
Oversee all tax related matters and issues with Head of Finance: corporation tax, VAT, PAYE, overseas

Skills needed:

Recognised accountancy qualification; MS Office suite; broad industry knowledge of products, operations and regulatory environment Industry awareness
PLC accounts, Limited Company accounts, IFRS requirements, FCA reporting, tax reporting including MTD
Knowledge of the products offered by the firm and the importance of being a regulated firm as applicable to the role is expected
Expert knowledge of the fund management industry
A good understanding of the FCA's Senior Managers and Certification Regime and how it applies to the role
An understanding of the rules, regulations, policies and procedures as set out in the Compliance Manual
