Key Responsibilities:


  • Operate and maintain paint sprayer equipment, ensuring proper functionality and performance.
  • Mix and adjust paint formulations to achieve the desired color and texture.
  • Monitor and adjust spray settings, air pressure, and paint flow to ensure consistent and highquality results.
  • Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of paint sprayer equipment to prevent downtime and ensure longevity.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and maintain efficient workflow.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Keep accurate records of paint usage, equipment maintenance, and work performed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new paint technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • CSCS card
  • Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer Technician, preferably in a manufacturing or steel fabrication environment.
  • Proficiency in operating paint sprayer equipment and understanding various paint types (2K, 3K) and coatings.
  • Strong understanding of surface preparation techniques, including cleaning and sanding.
  • Ability to mix and adjust paint formulations to achieve desired color and texture.
  • Attention to detail and an eye for achieving seamless finishes.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, new paint technologies, and best practices.

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
£21.00-£24.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • Every weekend

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Industrial Painting: 1 year (preferred)
