We are looking for a
Multi Skilled Operative to join our friendly team based at Tarmac Eaton Hall Quarry, near Congleton.

This is accessible from Eaton, Congleton, Biddulph, Stoke-on-Trent, Buxton, Leek, Northwich, Winsford, Sandbach, Crewe, Stockport and the surrounding areas.

Role Responsibility:

The role of
Multi Skilled Operative is part of a key team of Operatives producing dry aggregates material for the construction industry.

As well as delivering best in class Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality performance for our Plant operations, as
Multi Skilled Operative you will specifically focus on operational tasks including:

Working with aggregates on site and operating machinery and mobile plant (including loading shovels)
Weighbridge duties
Loading shovel (mobile plant)
Day to day maintenance of the plant, maintaining the highest levels of housekeeping
Training and operation on static plant operations to help drive plant optimisation
Working in a team of 15 to ensure that customers get good quality material and ontime deliveries
Ensuring that Plant availability is maximised
Assisting the Supervisor with meeting daily/weekly production targets
Maintaining and driving a culture of zero harm and behavioural safety
Compliance and awareness Health and Safety measure around the site
Experience working within a Health and Safety based environment
Good timekeeping and time management essential
Experience of operating mobile plant including Loading Shovel
Have knowledge of Risk Assessments (ideally within role of Operative)
Be flexible and happy to work as part of an effective Multi-Skilled Operational team, adapting to different tasks within the overall team
Be self motivated and able to motivate colleagues within the team
Good communication skills
Knowledge and experience of the industry, mobile plant and quarrying preferred but not essential
Full UK Driving Licence
Be IT literate
Shovel License (preferred not essential)
