Description
HR Administrator, £25927, Brighton, East Sussex (full time office based covering two sites, one in Portslade and one in Mouslecoomb, not able to offer hybrid working), parking available on both sites.
Our client needs someone that has worked within education before in a similar hr or administration post, this is essential.
Working in a small friendly team you will provide a proactive administration service to the academies.Varied role to include:
- ensure that references, qualifications are obtained prior to interview
- Undertake all necessary employment checks including DBS, prohibition right to work, qualification, medical and references.
- Collect ID and related information for Payroll and HR files on the employee's first day.
- Ensure that all personnel files on PeopleHR are fully populated
- Administer the process for new employees by preparing contracts and offer letters
- Liaise with Payroll, IT, and all other relevant departments to coordinate equipment needed in advance of new starters commencing (laptops, school pass, Payroll etc)
- Upload sick notes and documentation to appropriate systems
- Organise absence meetings for the HR Partner(s) to attend (book rooms, coordinate diaries etc)
- Arrange occupational health assessments as directed by the HR Partner(s)
- Minute formal meeting where appropriate
- Administering the School's annual appraisal cycle, chase, collect, and record completed appraisals and training needs.
The HR Administrator, Brighton is a full time permanent office base role, working Monday-Friday 37.5 hour week, typically or 8.30-5pm, 25 days holidays plus Bank Holidays, pension and cycle to work scheme.
