    About The Role


    We are seeking support workers to join our team in Melton Constable, Norfolk, working days and/or nights.

    Whilst fully embracing the company ethos, support workers provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower people to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone's individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they want to live. Support is required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    Position: Support Worker

    Location: Hull

    Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week

    Responsibilities

    • To provide support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone's individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans.
    • Promote the health, well‑being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support and ensure they are met in an inclusive way.
    • To facilitate social, educational or work activities such as visiting family and friends, supported employment, walks, shopping and other recreational activities of their choice.
    • General housekeeping duties that can include shopping, domestic duties as well as elements of personal care.
    • As part of the role, you will need to be able to complete a range of records and documents.

    Candidates will require a full reference check and an enhanced DBS. We are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offers Act.

    Baylis Place is an 11‑bedroom residential home in Kingston Upon Hull. We provide a high level of quality individual care to people with learning disabilities and other complex needs, including challenging behaviour.
