Description

As a Student Mental Health Adviser, you will provide information, advice and guidance to 16-18-year olds who are experiencing a range of mental health issues.

Student Mental Health Adviser The Role:23,367 per annum FTE
Hours of work will be full-time, term-time only
Working closely with key members of the Student Services team
Responsible for a caseload of students, supporting them to develop their resilience and improve their mental health
Providing engaging mental health training and guidance to staff on how to effectively support students
Establishing strong external partnership relationships are also important aspects of this role.

Student Mental Health Adviser Applicant Requirements:
Previous experience working with young people in schools setting
Previous experience supporting students with safeguarding and mental health
Having a good understanding of SEMH needs
Passionate about supporting academic success as well as the physical and emotional welfare of young people
