Salary:

What is the role?

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, as part of the wider commercial finance function, you will be involved in a variety of projects and will support the development and implementation of robust financial models and analysis across the business.

You will ultimately help the board of directors to make financially sound decisions, which support the strategic goals of the business.

This is an exciting opportunity to learn and work closely with both the Head of Commercial Finance & Head of Commercial and wider business stakeholders, on deal/ tender opportunities and other strategic projects as guided by the board of directors.

What do I need?- Lead in developing and embedding robust and standardised financial models for the business.- Forecast Models - own the maintenance and development of the P&L/ CAPEX forecasting model to enable scenario analysis, in relation to the budget cycle, long term cash flow management and inform future funding requirements for the business.- Lead with the provision of modelling best practice expertise, continuous improvements and support the broader finance function and bid teams, in reviewing model inputs & assumptions and ensuring appropriate assumption owners across the business.- Bid Team Support and Investment Appraisal to win new work, Neos Networks bids for work with clients.

You will work closely with bid teams and the end clients, to understand the key drivers of the business opportunity that will be modelled.

This will include attending and providing thought leadership via regular meetings with solution experts, building financial models and supporting the business with commercial challenge of the opportunity via the investment gateway process.

You will also support the business on the appraisal of other network investment opportunities.- M&A / Debt Raise - Support the Head of Commercial Finance and Director of Finance in modelling in support of future fundraising and in assessing strategic M&A activity.- Support the CFO & Head of Commercial Finance on key strategic business topics through commercial modelling.- Support the Commercial Finance Team & participate in the Finance Transformation and digitalisation strategy.

- Qualifications & expertise:

Qualified accountant or CFA.-
Experience of building and working with financial models, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, Analytics, and Investment cases.
Risk analysis tools
Strong understanding of investment principles (e.

g:
DCF, IRR, NPV)- Understanding of accounting and financial concepts.- Ability to describe complex technical issues in a clear and non-technical way.- Experience of PowerBi is advantageous.- Ability to build and review business models & an experienced leader and communicator at all levels within the organisation.- Able to manage multiple complex projects/processes simultaneously
