Description
We have three newly created roles in our Data Operations team on 6 month contracts.


Data Operations provides operational support for TGP's customer lifecycle journey which includes, but not limited to management of market interaction to maintain metering and read data required to ensure the accuracy of billing and industry settlement in electricity and gas markets.


The core remit of the role will be providing process support, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve data exceptions and customer queries raised by internal teams.


As the Data Operations Executive you will be required to be approachable, flexible, and adaptable as the role is varied and sometimes demanding due to the complexities of the type of work involved.


This is a newly created team working within Newcastle office based at the heart of the city with panoramic rooftop views across the city center.

Role Details:


Salary:
up £24,000


Bonus:
Up to 10% payable at the end of the contract


Location:
Newcastle City Centre


Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday 9am-5pm Office Based


Contract type: 6 month Contract

Activities

  • Support processes within Data Operations remit to defined industy timescales and internal SLAs, designed to deliver a great customer experience.
  • Manage assigned queries including escalations and customer complaints.
  • Maintain the integrity of read and meter asset data held in industry databases through use of dataflows.
  • Support industry and internal data cleansing projects as required.
  • Collaborative working with other business areas and provide technical support regarding industry processes when required.
  • Maintain the relationships with external 3rd parties to drive high performance at all times.
  • Support process changes and efficiencies within the department by conducting system testing where required and documenting procedures.
  • Proactive approach to managing own workload along with being a strong team player.

Qualifications / experience required

  • Energy and/or Customer Services industry experience would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word & Excel) to an intermediate level.
  • Excellent Communication skills written and verbal.
  • Good numeracy and problem solving skills.
  • Strong planning and organisation as well as negotiation and influencing skills.
