Description

We are looking for a kind, caring and responsible Italian speaking, junior nanny.

The nanny will work 5 days per week (sometimes helping at the weekend) and you will have your own self contained accommodation close by.

Looking after the Employer's children's needs, welfare, development and health and safety. The children should be both engaged in social activities and one-on-one activities. (e.g reading singing, learning numbers, letters, alphabet, painting).

You should speak in Italian as the primary language with the Employer's children, encouraging development of language through reading, singing, language games, and explanation of the world around.

In collaboration with the Employer, you should develop a timetable for the daily activities of the Employer's children. This should include learning and play activities, meal plans, and social activities.
Supervision of the children at all times they are in The Employee's care.
Encouraging development in skills which are relevant to the children's age and level of motor and social development e.g.

simple tummy time activities, to more complex play times as the children develop such as puzzles, reading, painting, writing, arithmetic, drawing, music, telling the time.

Taking the children to the GP surgery when necessary.
Toys and books should be kept in an orderly and neat fashion at all times.

Books together neatly in the book shelves, wooden toys together, soft toys together, puzzles together (all pieces present), painting and drawing items together and cleaned.

Cooking for the children. A meal plan should be drawn up in consultation with the Employer consisting of a healthy balanced diet. All kitchen surfaces should be clean and tidy following meal preparation. Taking the children to and from activities, sports, playdates. Arranging the children's social schedule when they are old enough. Occasionally when the Employers require, Bathing the children and preparing them for bed. Assisting with the general tidiness and organisation of house. Any other duties that the Employer require with prior discussion.
