We're recruiting for a Personal Tax Senior to join a fantastic Top 30 chartered accountancy practice based in Chatham, Kent.

This position would suit a Tax Semi Senior or Senior looking to take on a hands on position with a fantastic and well-establishedTop 30 practice that has an excellent reputation

The successful Personal Tax Senior will be responsible for:

  • Preparing self-assessment tax returns, providing an all-round service with the emphasis on each client's individual requirements.
  • Managing allocated portfolio of clients.
  • Completion of selfemployed accounts and schedules of income from property.
  • Demonstration of knowledge with regards to P11Ds, tax credits, tax codes, gift aid relief claims for charities and dealing with HMRC Compliance.
  • Working closely with the corporation tax compliance team to obtain information required to complete clients' selfassessment tax returns.
  • Managing and supervising junior members of the tax team as directed
  • Opportunity to get involved in advisory work as you wish, across CGT, IHT.

Requirements The Personal Tax Senior will be:

  • ACA/ACA/ CTA or ATT Qualified, or part qualified with 3+ years' experience working within tax.
  • Strong written communication skills to write reports when required
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Organised and efficient

Benefits:

- £35,000 - £45,000+ dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
