An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Associate in Data Science and Analysis working on long-term pharmacovigilance registers for adults with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and children and young people with arthritis (Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis) who are being treated with advanced therapies.

We need a researcher who understands working with large datasets, including cleaning, data wrangling, and analysis of data, who has an excellent eye for detail and who can present and publish their findings at conferences and in journals.

A PhD (or equivalent experience) in data science, epidemiology or a related discipline is required.

You should have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well both in a team and using your own initiative.

Other keys skills include a proactive approach to work, problem solving and the ability to provide solutions. Experience of using statistical software is desirable, with a willingness to understand confidential data and research ethics.
