Experience in transport management preferred but not essential. Training provided.Pay is commensurate with experience.
07:00 - 17:00 (flexible) working week, Monday to Friday.
We are looking for a keen and experienced individual to join our team at Central.
Alongside private coach hire, we operate several school contracts in addition to meeting the transport needs of various private clients, ranging from executive cars and eights seater taxis to full size coaches.
It is the role of our dedicated team to effectively work together to meet those needs in an ever-growing industry.
Duties would include -
- Receive and direct calls to the appropriate person or department.
- Assist the Control Room Supervisor with operational duties during school times.
- General office administration.
- Allocation of work covering various contracts around Aberdeen/shire.
- Produce and send invoices.
What you will need -
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional and friendly telephone manner.
- Good level of IT and administration skills.
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
- Ability to think on your feet and problem solve.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
Salary:
£10.50-£11.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Aberdeen: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
Language:
- English (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
