Due to the increase of treatments and care we give to patients, our professional and established Outpatient Administration department at our Emerson's Green Hospital, Bristol is growing
We have a need for an additional
Clinic Co-ordinator to manage and monitor our patients' pathway from admission through to discharge.
This is a Part Time position and shifts vary to cover either a morning or afternoon clinic -
Shift times are 07:00 to 15:00 and 13:00 to 21:00

What you'll be doing:
You will be accountable for ensuring that the patient pathway is followed and you will responsible for keeping track of their movements between departments.
The main focus of this position would be to very effectively monitor and ensure the arrangements of a patient appointment, this will include regular communication with Consultants, Nurses and other administration staff, and keeping the patients in the department updated with regards to the next steps of their visit.
You will be cross-checking with medical staff ensuring timescales are being met and informing them of the patient's current status within Outpatients.
Through successful training, our Clinic Co-ordinators are knowledgeable and confident in their role in ensuring our patients have a smooth and cared for journey through our busy outpatients department.
What we'll look for in you:
This Clinic Coordinator position would be ideal for those who have performed the same similar role in the past; managing and ensuring a patients or customers pathway, journey or stay.
You will need to have a welcoming, accommodating and friendly approach, sometimes you might be having to support a potentially worried and uneasy patient.
You will be an effective communicator at all levels both written and verbal with strong IT skills, able to pick up new systems easily.
You will be an experienced administrator with a strong customer focus appreciation, used to working effectivity in a fast passed, busy environment, yet managing that effective communication style.
