City Today Couriers are looking to recruit someone to join our small friendly accounts team based at our Stockport Office.

Requirements for the role

Help to prepare Vat quarterly, preparing year end on sage so our accountants can come in and complete.

Inputting payments on to the bank. / paying suppliers daily /managing companies' day to day cash flow.

Billing - To check supplier invoices are correct against charges, Billing to clients on a weekly basis via our in-house systems

Ability to work under pressure.

Computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Excel, formulas and Vlook up. Knowledge of Sage is a must full training will be given. All postings to sage inc sales, cost wages

Work well with others and alone.

Credit control function when required to cover holidays.

You will be required to perform, preparing and maintaining financial records to the bank and support the Managing Director. Helping in the overall day to day running of the accounts dept.


Salary:
From £25,000.00 per year

Experience:


  • Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
- bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
