Description

You will own the use of WordPress as a strategic platform within our Digital Estate.

Working closely with internal stakeholders - particularly within the International team - the wider Digital, Data and Technology directorate, and external suppliers, you will ensure our WordPress platform and sites are maintained and enhanced in line with theneeds of the charity.

You will be working in a busy and constantly evolving environment. In any given week you may be liaising with stakeholders to define and scope requirements, working with suppliers and in-house developers to deliver platform iterations, managing the swift resolutionof the occasional incident within agreed SLAs, making configuration changes yourself or all of the above

This role might be for you if you have:

Proven experience of managing a strategic digital platform within an organisation, working effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Detailed knowledge and experience of WordPress as a platform and an understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP, jQuery and JavaScript
Knowledge of the product development lifecycle and Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and are passionate about building collaborative partnerships and working relationships
