The Organisation

A high growth multi-channel (D2C & B2B) hospitality business seeking to recruit an experienced operations manager to join their expanding team.


The Role:


  • Implementing and managing the company KPI's with the Director
  • Planning, scheduling, and reviewing workload and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a costeffective basis.
  • Develop and maintain an effective marketing strategy to promote the products, services and image of the brand alongside the Creative Director & TRH, (external creative agency.)
  • Represent the company in negotiations with customers, suppliers and other key contacts to secure for it the most effective contract terms.
  • Develop and maintain TQM systems throughout the company to ensure that the best possible products are provided to customers. Continuing to monitor production quality and standards (alongside managers)
  • Develop and direct the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that the company
- complies with all health and safety and other statutory regulations. (Elements of HR)

  • Managing website orders and HPP range/logistics setup
  • Ensuring the working environment maintains access to quality equipment
  • Organising senior recruitment hires, as and when required
  • Monitoring and evaluating manager performance, identifying training needs and organising as necessary
  • Identifying production bottlenecks and improving process efficiencies
  • Researching and approaching senior management with outsourcing opportunities
  • Researching and managing partnership with a fulfilment company to outsource nationwide delivery (must be experts in delivering perishable items)
  • Manage private health insurance scheme
  • Ability to process payments and handle sensitive information appropriately

Essential:


  • Minimum five years strong, proven operational management experience as an Operations
  • Manager/Director
  • Operating within F&B, FMCG or hospitality industries preferred
  • Ability to interpret the P&L and manage budgets effectively
  • Experience with leading people and elements of HR
  • Working to agreed deadlines and ability to work autonomously
  • Technical/operational qualification or equivalent by experience
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success
  • Critical thinker and problemsolver

  • BA(Hons)/MBA in Business/Operations Management
