Description

Our client, a recycling company based in Whittlesey, Peterborough, are seeking a full time General Operative who ideally also has a valid forklift licence to join their busy operations.

The role will require you to work Week 1 Monday to Friday - 05:50 and Week 2 14:20 and 13:50 to 22:20 rotating.

Forklift licence must be counterbalance and valid/in date.
Please note the position is based in Whittlesey, Peterborough and is starting ASAP.

This is a full time, Temporary to Permanent Contract placement

Salary - £12.81 per hour and Overtime
This is an ideal position who has experience of working in a manual/outdoor environment.

This is a dusty environment and due to the location of the site own Transport would be needed for this role.

Duties:

Sorting and separating material filtered through machinery
Communication via site radios
Keeping area tidy
Operating FLT Truck (counterbalance)
To ensure the materials and product are handled in accordance with production SOP
Check qualities and quantities of the product according to specifications
Fill relevant paperwork
You will have good verbal communication
