For our Vattenfall Business Area Wind (Business Unit Offshore) we are looking for a

Process Improvement Advisor for Governance Processes - for our Process Excellence team.


We are looking for a solution-oriented, goal-driven person, who shares our passion for building a sustainable society and energy landscape.

As Process Improvement Advisor for (project) governance processes, you will report to the Head of Process Excellence, a strategy-oriented function which is responsible for implementing and fostering a continuous process improvement culture.


As Process Improvement Advisor you will closely collaborate with our internal stakeholders across departments to identify and realise improvement potentials across the Business Unit.

A special focus of your work will be the analysis, optimisation and maturing of our project governance processes and structures.

As the market growth of renewable energy accelerates, the number of projects the organisation has to manage increases drastically. Efficient project decision making processes are a key enabler for a high performing organization. We work in an international setting and with direct exposure to senior management. Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Act as process manager for governance processes within BU Offshore.
  • Prepare effective change proposals, concepts and analysis reports for our stakeholders & management team, especially for the Process Owner.
  • Proactively analyse and improve project governance to ensure efficient (project) steering in BU Offshore.
  • Identify, prioritize and implement improvements to the governance processes within the business unit.
  • Regularly engage with stakeholders, conducting interviews with key users or community meetings.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and supporting material, e.g. templates, for the processes within your responsibility, ensuring uptodate information available.
  • Train key users in governance processes and relevant templates or tools to ensure a consistent and standardized way of working across the business unit.

Profile:

  • Advanced university degree (or equal) in business, law or similar with 35 years of work experience, including experience in project management or project governance.
  • Aptitude for problem solving, analytics, critical and creative thinking.
  • Proven ability and structured approach to solve assignments with senior guidance (qualitative analysis and organizational/process assignments), and to take ownership to develop solutions.
  • You enjoy working with a variety of stakeholders and you are a strong communicator across hierarchical levels, including first experience with Senior Management.
  • Experience in the Wind industry preferable, but not required.
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills, experience with SharePoint preferable.
