Let me tell you about me, my company and the role.


My name is Sam Opie and I'm the Managing Director of a Fitness & Nutrition company called Amity Fitness in Coventry, West Midlands.


Amity's mission is to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of people in our local area, helping them to fall in love with the process of working on their health and fitness.

We understand and experience daily the impact our program has on our members' mental and physical wellbeing.


Finally, we firmly believe and embody the approach that this is a lifestyle, not a short term process, so we do all we can to build and promote our community, from our regular social events, to entering teams into fun-focused fitness competitions, and finally our yearly fitness retreats we run around Europe specifically for our members.


We are changing the status-quo for many people that, going to the gym is a tedious chore that "should" be done.

Instead, our members truly love their time with us and want to keep coming back for more.

In doing so, we have created something that is changing lives for good


But more people need our help


I'm looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person to join our team to enable us to support more people on a larger scale.

WHAT WE DO...


We currently offer a goal-focused, small-group-orientated nutrition and fitness programme that guides, motivates, and supports local men and women to change their lives in a fun and sustainable manner.


All clients start their journey with us through our 4-week Foundations Program where they receive 3 small group personal training sessions each week, along with nutrition coaching and body diagnostic assessments.

On completion of the Foundations Program, members will have the opportunity to join our long-term transformation program


TASKS YOU'LL BE EXPECTED TO PERFORM

  • Initiate contact with potential members to nurture leads from our sales and marketing campaigns and provide them with additional information on our membership and short term challenge programmes.
  • Schedule and undertake regular aftersales support calls with members to engage and follow up on and/or seek valuable feedback to actively support membership retention.
  • Scheduling onboarding appointments with new members, Use and update our online systems such as: CRM; Scheduling; Communications; Spreadsheets / analytics.
  • Management of our session booking platform based on coach availability and schedules.
  • Working with our coaches to Create content on wellbeing and nutritional advice for use within our marketing and engagement campaigns on our social media platforms.
  • Exporting and interpreting data on membership attendance and responses to engagement campaigns.
  • Exporting data regarding recurring membership payments and incorporating this into our financial database for forecasting visibility and reporting.
  • Organising regular member retreats including booking of flights, accommodation and activities.
  • Work directly with the Managing Director to support and assist all aspects of their daily work routine, including diary management (scheduling meetings, appointments) project planning, task prioritisation, as well as liaising and maintaining effective communications across a variety of endusers and key stakeholders.

THE "MUSTS"
These are the skills and expectations required to qualify for this position:

  • Exceptionally organised and good with IT systems and administrative tasks
  • Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, ideally in a sales driven environment.
  • Willing to learn and evolve into this position
  • Target / KPI Driven
  • Willing to work in a team (No Mavericks here, thanks)
  • Able to work a variety of different times (Weekends, mornings, evenings, etc) though a consistent working schedule will be created.
  • Not afraid of hard work

BONUS SKILLS

  • Previous experience in the fitness industry in either a sales or coaching role.

WHERE YOU'LL BE WORKING


We are currently waiting to move in to a new office, and the majority of this role will be based from here, with small flexibility to work from home.
