A reputable Leeds based D&B M&E contractor (T/O c£10m) with a long trading history, who provide Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Design and Installation Service to the Industrial, Commercial, Retail, Leisure, Private and Public sectors.

Clients worked with include Rolls Royce, Ministry of Defence, HSBC, Dupont, Carlsberg and many other blue chip companies as well as the public sector.
Typical projects range in value between £1m and £4m (M&E value).

The Role:

You can be employed on a permanent or project by project, contract basis.

You will be site based in central Leeds, responsible for supervising electrical building services installations including lighting, power, emergency lighting for a c400 bed, £7m M&E student accommodation new build, due to be completed in August 2025.

Future confirmed projects will include a crematorium, care home and hotel all local in Yorkshire. These schemes will run for the next 3-4 years.

You will be responsible for all electrical elements on site, liaising with the project manager/engineer and the principal contractor.

You will manage the programme ,submit material requests as required, ensure safe systems of work, oversee both direct and sub-contract labour and help to ensure the project runs within time and quality constraints.

The Person:

Previous experience of supervising commercial electrical installations at site level. Non-working experience and supervision of trades is essential.
It is essential that you have basic computer skills and can use Excel / Site Audit Pro.

The Salary:

Hourly rate between £21 and £23 Depending on experience / hour based on 50 hours a week
