Now seeking a Payroll Assistant to help with all aspects of Payroll.

This position is suited to a Payroll Assistant who has an interest in accounts, and some finance experience.

Responsibilities:

Process weekly hours and monthly salaries

Process starters, leavers, statutory payments (SMP/SSP etc), and PAYE reconciliations

Submission of HMRC reporting, and liaising with HMRC regarding PAYE/ NIC and P11d

Process BACS payments, reconcile monthly journals, and submit monthly pension reports

Update annual holiday entitlement and maintain employee holiday records

Purchase Ledger (processing supplier invoices, statement reconciliations, supplier payments)

Sales Ledger (processing weekly sales uploads, posting customer cash, maintaining debtor records)

Bank reconciliations

Petty Cash reconciliations


Skills/ Experience:

Payroll experience is essential

Accounts experience is beneficial

Proficient in all Microsoft Office packages

Excellent attention to detail, with good organisational skills

Good communication skills
