Description
I'm looking for a BI Analyst to join a retail business based in Warrington.

You will be responsible for developing, enhancing and communicating operational performance reports that provide stakeholders with clear and actionable insights.

The role involves managing and maintaining reporting and analysis platforms to support businessdecisions and drive improved outcomes.


Role Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain a suite of reports across multiple platforms including SSRS, Power BI and Excel
  • Maintaining OLAP cubes and data warehouses
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes from internal and external data sources using SSIS
  • Provide adhoc data extraction from SQL Server to support business planning and analysis
  • Support all areas of the business with data processing requirements
  • Maintain SQL Server database objects such as Stored Procedures, Functions and Views to support all reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and provide datadriven solutions to support business decisions
  • Monitor and troubleshoot report performance and data accuracy, and implement solutions to resolve any issues
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all reporting and data processing activities
  • Keep uptodate with industry trends and new technologies to ensure the reporting and analysis platforms are optimised and meet changing business needs
  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards and visualisation to meet business requirements
  • Implement and maintain Power BI data models and ensure data quality and integrity

Required Experience:


  • Experience in a customer servicefocused, process and datadriven environment
  • Experience with OLAP BI database
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI, including report creation and visualisation
  • Strong skills in SQL report writing, including advanced knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL.
  • Proficient in MS Office and MS Excel
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Advanced Excel and report writing skills
  • Experience with SQL Server
  • Proficient in SQL, analytics and BI tools
The salary is £45-50,000 plus benefits and is a hybrid-working role.
