Westlake's Recruit are currently recruiting for a
Project Controls Assistant with a background in construction/refurbishment projects to be engaged on a
Contract basis in
Reading.

This is a Night Shift role, with the hours being 6pm - 6:30am.

Role Responsibilities:

Develop/implement and maintain the Project Baseline Budgets including Control Account Plans/Responsibility Assignment Matrix.
Develop/baseline and maintain the Project integrated schedule (Level 13)
Develop and maintain Project Risk & Opportunity registers and manage the mitigation actions.
Implementation of change management process on the project and assurance of alignment with the business/contractual requirements.
Provision of weekly and monthly performance reports and associated analysis/narrative.
Assist in the management of subprojects/key project issues.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum ONC level or OND qualification, in an Engineering relevant discipline or equivalent
L3 NVQ or equivalent
Basic knowledge / experience in the field of project controls and/or project management in an appropriate sector (nuclear, process engineering, oil & gas, or civil engineering).
Experience of working in a multi discipline team on project delivery.
Awareness of various contracting methodologies (e.g., FIDIC/NEC3, NEC4/JCT etc )
Application of project control toolsets including experience and knowledge of project performance analysis and reporting variance analyses SV / CV, trend analysis, change control management.
