What the day will look like

The main responsibility of the role is to lead on the negotiation and placement of risk into the Group Risk market.

In this role the Associate Broker will add value to our clients through strong negotiation on terms, proposition and pricing and making recommendationsthat align to our client requirements.

A key requirement of the role will be positing Aon's Broking Proposition to existing and prospect Aon Health clients, understanding client requirements, providing relevant market insight and delivering data driven analytics.

Through building and maintaining strong relationships with key carrier stakeholders the Broker will develop their understanding of market propositions and how they can add value to our clients.

This will further support on negotiations and delivering resultsin line with client expectations.

Negotiate, recommend and place risk for Group Risk market reviews
Work alongside the Consulting teams in the delivery of Aon's Broking proposition
Ensure all market review reports are completed within the timescale allocated and all recommendations in line with the clients' objectives
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key carrier stakeholders
Stay up to date with employee benefit trends in the industry, monitor market developments and use this knowledge do deliver further client value

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Your skills and experience will ideally include:

Good Group Risk market experience, preferably with GR1 qualification
Strong negotiation skills
Client facing experience
Strong technical knowledge of Group Risk Insurance
Build strong multilayer relationships with clients and key stakeholders internally and externally
